Treat the whole room
Licensed product through the harbourages, not a spray of the bed. Treating the mattress alone moves them a metre and buys a fortnight.
Follow-up sprays
Eggs are not reached by the first application. The follow-up is part of the job, not an upsell.

Once the treatment is dry, which is hours rather than days. We give you the figure on the day, because it depends on the product used and on which rooms needed treating, and we give it to you before we start rather than after. Where it is a bedroom we work the timing around you, so nobody is left without somewhere to sleep.
Products for household insects are formulated at low concentration and placed into the cracks and voids rather than across open surfaces. Depending on the application it is best to stay out of the treated rooms for a few hours, and we tell you which and for how long before we start.
Usually not. Bed bugs live in the seams, the frame and the room around the bed as much as in the mattress itself, so replacing it before the room is treated normally just gives them a new one to move into. If a mattress is genuinely beyond saving we will say so, and we would rather say it before you spend the money than after.
Because eggs already laid are not reached by the first application. They hatch after it, so a treatment that stops there leaves you the next generation and the impression that nothing worked. The second visit is timed for that hatch, and it is the step that breaks the cycle rather than thinning it.
